Vijay A. Balasubramaniyan, CEO, CTO and co-founder
Vijay Balasubramaniyan, PhD is the Founder, CEO and CTO of Pindrop Security. Vijay holds patents in VoIP security and scalability and he frequently speaks on phone fraud threats and at technical conferences, including CCS and ICDCS. Vijay has held various engineering and research roles with Google, Siemens, IBM Research, and Intel. He earned a PhD in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. His PhD thesis was on telecommunications security.

Paul Judge, Chairman
Dr. Paul Judge is a serial entrepreneur and noted scholar. Prior to creating Pindrop Security he was founder and CTO at Purewire which was acquired by Barracuda Networks where he serves as Chief Research Officer. He previously was CTO of CipherTrust for 5 years leading to its acquisition by Secure Computing where he then served as CTO and VP. He heads Judge Ventures, an investment firm. Judge Ventures focuses on opportunities in making the Internet safe, useful, and entertaining. He earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech.

Dr. Mustaque Ahamad, Chief Scientist and co-founder
Dr. Mustaque Ahamad recently stepped down as the director of the Georgia Tech Information Security Center (GTISC) after 8 years of service. He collaborates extensively with industry leaders and government on telecommunication security. His research has been funded by NSF, DARPA and numerous information technology and security companies and he has participated in events including the 2013 World Economic Forum in Davos, the FTC Robocall Summit and the Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group. Mustaque earned a PhD in Computer Science from State University of New York at Stony Brook, 1985.

Matt Anthony, VP Marketing
Before joining Pindrop Security Matt Anthony served as Director of Marketing at Dell, which acquired SecureWorks in 2011. Matt spent 5 years at SecureWorks as Vice President of Marketing, where he managed a variety of functions, including product and segment marketing, demand generation, event and interactive marketing. Prior to SecureWorks, Matt was Director of Marketing at CipherTrust for 5 years. Matt began his career at Dell Computer.

Johnny Baker, VP Business Development
Johnny Baker is a technology business development and sales leader. Johnny was most recently at Cisco Systems as Director Advanced Technology Sales where he oversaw account management and business development with some of Cisco’s largest customers. He previously held key sales and business development positions at leading technology companies including CipherTrust, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Apple, and Servigistics.

Lamar Willis, VP Engineering
Lamar Willis most recently served as Director of Engineering, Cloud Services at Barracuda Networks. Lamar joined Barracuda as part of the acquisition of Purewire, where he served as VP of Engineering. Lamar was responsible for all aspects of product strategy, development and support. Prior to Purewire, Lamar held engineering positions at Secure Computing, CipherTrust and Spectrum Software. For the first 13 years of his career Lamar held a variety of technical positions at AT&T, including the renowned Bell Labs division.

Patrick Traynor, Research Fellow and co-founder
Dr. Patrick Traynor is co-director of the Converging Infrastructure Security (CISEC) Laboratory at Georgia Tech. His research is focused primarily on security in cellular networks and he has been published widely. He received the NSF CAREER award. Patrick earned a PhD and MS in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University in 2008 and 2004 respectively, and BS in Computer Science from the University of Richmond.
